Synatel Proximity Sensors

The SYNATEL range includes a selection of proximity sensors, both inductive and capacitive, in a variety of enclosures ranging from 12mm dia DC type up to 40mm DIN standard limit switch style. ATEX and IECEx approved sensors for dust and gas hazard areas are available, which can also be used in non-approved applications. Accessory items are also available, to allow easy fitting of sensors to shafts etc., without the need for additional guarding.

Following an agreement between 4B and Synatel, 4B now handles all sales, distribution and support activities for Synatel products.

For sensor and level indication products, 4B Braime will offer our direct, identical equivalent to the Synatel product (follow this link for cross reference sheet). When a direct equivalent is not available from our range, we will offer the current Synatel product.

Synatel proximity sensors
  • A low cost, fully contained speed monitoring attachment, allowing easy fitting of 18/30mm diameter & DIN standard limit switch style inductive proximity sensors/speed monitors.
  • Simple M12 fixing (Magnetic mounting available as an option).
  • Targets are fully enclosed and require no further guarding. 
  • ATEX mechanical approval.
  • Comes complete with fixing strap & 18/30mm mounting bracket to enable use with any sensor.
  • Moulded DIN limit switch style housing (40x40mm) proximity sensors. Non-approved. 2 versions are available:
  • ID/E1DO – 4 wire – 10-30V dc supply. Npn/pnp output
    (selected by supply wires reversal) Normally de-energised (off). 30V 100mA max. 12mm range max.
  • UD1DR – Moulded limit switch style housing. 5 wire – 12-240V dc/24-240V ac supply,
    Relay output 3A 240V non-inductive max. Output normally de-energised (off). 12 mm range max.
  • Ideal for general use, such as replacing existing limit switches or target detection on rotating/reciprocating machinery.

  • Non-approved.
  • ID1LS – 12mm metal body. 3 wire connection, npn output, 30V dc 100mA max.
    10-30V dc supply. Non flush. 4mm range max.
  • Available as 4 wire DC or 2 wire FET multivoltage units.
  • Non flush.
  • Ideal for target detection on rotating/reciprocating machinery.
  • ATEX EN60079 & IECEx IEC 60079 gas & dust hazard area use approvals.
  • ID/E1MOAI – 4 wire npn/pnp protected output 30V dc 100mA max. Output state selectable by supply connections reversal. 10-30V dc supply.
  • ID1MZAI – 2 Wire FET output. Normally De-energised. 24-240V ac/dc 50mA max.
    IE1MZAI – 2 wire FET output. Normally Energised. 24-240V ac/dc 50mA max.
  • A range of 30mm inductive proximity sensors
  • Ideal for target detection on rotating/reciprocating machinery.
  • Available as 4 wire DC or 2 wire FET multivoltage units.
  • Non flush. 
  • ATEX EN60079 & IECEx IEC 60079 gas & dust hazard area use approvals.
  • ID/E1TOAI – 4 wire npn/pnp protected output 30V dc 100mA max. Output state selectable by supply connections reversal. 10-30V dc supply.
  • ID1TZAI – 2 Wire FET output. Normally De-energised. 24-240V ac/dc 50mA max.
  • IE1TZAI – 2 wire FET output. Normally Energised. 24-240V ac/dc 50mA max.
  • ATEX EN60079 & IECEx IEC 60079 gas & dust hazard area use approvals.
  • Ideal for level detection in small hoppers, etc.
  • CX1TRAI – 5 wire SPCO relay output rated @ 60V 3A non-inductive. 15-240V dc/24-240V ac supplies.
  • CX1TZAI – 2 Wire FET output. 24-240V ac/dc supplies, 100mA max non-inductive.
