At 4B, helping you manage privacy and the protection of personal information is among our primary concerns.  Below are the guidelines we use for protecting the information you provide us during your experience with our company through any means, such as when you use our web sites, interact with us through our products and other services, when we speak with you over the telephone, and if you work directly with our technical support teams.
 

1. Collection and Use of Children's Personal Information

4B takes children's privacy seriously. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 through our websites.

4B uses website analytics tools to retrieve information from your browser, such as the site you came from, the search engine(s), the keywords you used to find our site, and the pages you view within our site. Lastly, we collect certain standard information that your browser sends to every website you visit such as your IP address, browser type and language, access times, and referring website addresses. 

When you visit the 4B website we gather and store this information to allow us to track the use of our website and make improvements. This information is stored and used in the aggregate only and is not used to obtain personal data or to contact you personally. The information includes, but is not limited to:

  • Referring domains Referring search engines
  • Browser and operating system used to access our website

Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Accordingly, and despite our efforts, 4B cannot guarantee or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us.


4. Disclosing Personal Information

We share your personal information with corporate affiliates to carry out transactions you request or to make our business or that of our corporate affiliates more responsive to your needs.
We may share your personal information with business partners that help 4B carry out transactions you request or that help 4B to customize, analyze and/or improve our communications or relationship with you, and then only with business partners who share 4B's commitment to protecting your personal information.
We may disclose your personal information in connection with law enforcement, fraud prevention, or other legal action as required by law or regulation, or if 4B reasonably believes it is necessary to protect 4B, its customers or the public.
Except as described above, we will not disclose your personal information to other third parties unless you have provided consent.
 

5. Email Use

If you received a mailing from us, (a) your email address is either listed with us as someone who has expressly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or (b) you have registered or purchased or otherwise have an existing relationship with us.  
When you receive newsletters or promotional emails from 4B, we may use Web beacons (described below), customized links or similar technologies to determine whether the e-mail has been opened and which links you click. The data is used to help us determine the effectiveness of our communications with you, and to provide you with more focused communications.

To opt out of an email list, go to our Newsletter Subscription Link and remove your email address or click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any email newsletter sent from 4B.
 

6. Cookies and Web Beacons

Cookies are small snippets of data sent to your computer that are designed to store basic information, such as visitor preferences. Cookies are used to track usage patterns, traffic trends, and visitor behavior. Cookies do not record your name or other personally identifiable information. Information collected from cookies will not be used to create profiles and will be used only in aggregate form.

4B may utilize web beacons, also known as clear GIFS, from third parties in order to help us compile aggregated statistics regarding the effectiveness of our site. Web beacons are used in combination with cookies to help understand how visitors interact with our site. We may include Web beacons in promotional email messages or our newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and acted upon. We prohibit web beacons on our website from being used by third parties to collect or access personal information.
